Senior Retention Product Manager

All Сurrent Vacancies Product
Our client is an international e-commerce platform in the gaming niche. The product connects two audiences: users who don't want to spend dozens of hours on routine grinding and prefer to delegate it to professionals, and high-level players who want to monetize their expertise. The platform matches them, vets and verifies the performers, takes responsibility for the quality of the result, and handles the payment and operational side.

The company has been operating for almost ten years, with the US and Europe as its core markets and sales in over a hundred countries. Its monthly audience runs into the hundreds of thousands, and its Trustpilot rating stays close to the maximum across tens of thousands of reviews.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own retention metrics: churn, LTV, repeat purchases, and cohort behavior
  • Analyze the user journey, identify drop-off points, and propose solutions
  • Validate hypotheses through A/B tests, behavioral analytics, and qualitative research, including customer development interviews with English-speaking clients
  • Develop lifecycle communications: onboarding, email, push, in-app, and reactivation flows
  • Clean up the CRM from the product side: what to automate, what to rebuild, and what to drop
  • Segment the audience and build personalized scenarios based on behavioral data
  • Work closely with a data engineer and an AI analyst on dashboards and data quality
  • Prioritize the backlog and drive tasks through to the development team

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in product, retention, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or growth
  • Retention as a core specialization, not one of several areas of responsibility. Concrete results matter: what happened to retention and churn, how LTV was calculated, which hypotheses were tested, and what came of them
  • Confident work with data: independently building funnels, segmenting audiences, and correctly interpreting experiment results
  • Experience with analytics and automation tools: Mixpanel, Amplitude, Braze, Customer.io, Intercom, or equivalents
  • Independence and a business mindset: the ability to find growth opportunities without a ready-made task
  • Hands-on use of AI tools in day-to-day work
  • English from B2 (spoken), C1 is a plus. Needed for customer development interviews with clients in the US and Europe. The internal working language is Russian

Conditions:

  • Compensation: 6,000-7,000 USD per month; for candidates with an outstanding profile, the range is negotiable
  • Format: fully remote, from anywhere in the world
  • Engagement: B2B contract
  • Schedule: flexible, with no strict hours; Moscow time zone as a reference point
  • Time off: 21 working days per year plus 10 paid sick days at full rate
  • Healthcare: a cumulative medical account; funds don't expire and expenses are reimbursed against receipts
  • Learning and English: the company covers half the cost of courses and language lessons, and the full cost when the training is company-initiated
