The company is dynamic and swiftly expanding in high-frequency trading (NFT), specializing in cryptocurrency market-making and arbitrage strategies. Despite being a compact organization, they’ve rapidly grown to trade on numerous cryptocurrency exchanges globally. Their activities contribute crucial liquidity, fostering more efficient financial markets. With proprietary algorithms, they command a notable market share, reaching up to 5 percent of trading volume on these platforms, solidifying their position as a significant market maker.
The team consists of 18 people: 5 traders and a manager; 3 Devops; 1 PM; 1 operations; 2 Python developers; 2 are retraining from Python to C++; The rest of the guys are C++.
There is an office in Dubai where traders and founders are located. The remaining employees work remotely from home. There is very little bureaucracy in the company and a horizontal management system. The development team works in 2-weeks sprints. Locations: from Germany to India, Thailand and South Africa
As Senior Python Developer you’ll play a crucial role in crafting and sustaining infrastructure and data processing services that complement the company’s C++ trading core, for example:
Develop and maintain Python-based infrastructure and data processing services;
Collaborate with C++ developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong proficiency in Python with experience in developing infrastructure and data processing services. • Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-structured code. • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. • Familiarity with Apache Kafka. • Experience with SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL. • Solid understanding of Linux systems, including docker and containerisation. • Experience with Django, Python Asyncio, Redis. • Experience with setting up CI pipelines for Python projects.
Having experience with any of the following technologies will be a plus: FastAPI; Pydantic; Clickhouse; Docker; Grafana; Prometheus; Ansible; Kubernetes; Terraform; Grafana; Gitlab
